Minister Ferrier proposes freeze on hiring consultants

PHILIPSBURG – The list of cost cutting measures Minister of Finance Mike Ferrier released on Tuesday to Members of Parliament contains six proposals that could save the country annually 20.9 million guilders ($11.7 million). Savings from 28 other possible measures do not have a price tag yet.

The list contains proposals that still have to be discussed in the Council of Ministers on May 15.
