Last Voting Day Crystal Pineapple Awards commences
MAHO — Thursday, November 21st, 2019 is the last chance to cast your votes for the 11 voting categories for the 12th Crystal Pineapple Awards (CPA), to be held this Saturday 23 rd 2019 at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino. Voting stops at 3 PM sharp on Thursday afternoon. If you haven’t voted as yet for your favorite hospitality and trade professionals, restaurants, media personalities, entrepreneurs, community and environmental organizations, SHTA calls to do so before 3 pm.
A public call for nominations went out on October 28th, 2019, resulting in 50 nominated professionals. The Crystal Pineapple Awards Fundraising Gala is the only event on the island that recognizes Hospitality & Trade Personnel, Organizations, and Associations. Each year employers and the general public are requested to nominate persons in various categories. The categories are evaluated and adjusted each year to reflect the various business sectors.
The gala evening includes a sumptuous dinner, live entertainment, a silent auction and much more. Organizer SHTA is grateful for the turnout, as well as for the support of its main sponsors Interval International and CC1, making the event possible in a time of economic recovery from hurricane Irma.
Some tickets are still for sale and can be purchased at the SHTA office any time during office hours 8 am – 5 pm. Please make sure to reserve your Gala tickets right away, as there is limited seating! Voting can be done on www.shta.com/vote-here until the polls close tomorrow Thursday, November 21 st at 3 pm.
