Court acquits Tromp

trompWILLEMSTAD – The Court in First Instance acquitted Dr. Emsley Tromp, the former president of the Central bank of Curacao and St. Maarten on Friday completely of intentionally filing incorrect income tax returns. The court ruled that the returns were incorrect but that there is insufficient evidence that Tromp did this intentionally.
