PHILIPSBURG – Owners of goods that were stolen in de aftermath of Hurricane Irma can reclaim their property on Friday, April 6 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the police station in Philipsburg. The prosecutor’s office said in a press statement that citizens who want to reclaim their property will have to present proof of ownership. Pond Island– TelEm Group telecommunication services to residential and business customers was interrupted Monday afternoon following an unexpected failure of network equipment. At approximately 3.00 pm Monday afternoon, fixed voice and data services and some mobile services were affected by the equipment malfunction. Technicians and engineers quickly identified the problem and were able to restore all services two hours later. The company is continuing to monitor the situation and has in the meantime apologized to customers and the general public for the inconvenience caused.
