Under this year’s theme, “Men Leading by Example” young men from secondary schools were welcomed at the bank’s branches across the region as they “job shadowed” various positions for the day on Tuesday, November 19th.

Cameron Jermin of the St. Maarten Academy joined senior managers and retail staff throughout the day. Cameron not only got an understanding of the various roles within banking but also shared in highlighting the six pillars – promoting positive role models, celebrating men’s positive contributions, focusing on men’s health and well-being, highlighting discrimination against males, improving gender relations and creating a safer/better world – on which IMD was founded.

The male staff members also received gifts of appreciation for their leading roles and positive contributions to community and family.
