UTS opens on Saturday

Philipsburg — UTS will open its doors on Saturdays to cater to the steady flow of visitors since reopening after hurricane Irma. The UTS store in Philipsburg will be open on Saturday October 21st, 28th and November 4th from 10AM to 2PM. The expanded opening hours are to allow customers who are not able to come in during the week to handle their business. “This is a time for us to connect with our customers and if needed, we’ll adjust to better meet their needs.” says UTS Marketing & Communication officer, Ivy Lambert.

“We know that during the week might not be an option for everyone to come in to our store, so we added additional openings on Saturday for the next coming weeks. With much of the Chippie network restored, the majority of our  customers are back online. There are still some though, that haven’t been able to visit us yet because they had other pressing matters to attend to. If you’ve lost your phone during the hurricane and need us to re-issue your number on a new chip, or if you’d like a new SIM cards or if you need assistance troubleshooting settings in your phone or anything else, we’re happy to oblige. After a monster-storm we’re working hard on getting things back to normal and if we can assist our customers in achieving the same, we are here to help. Our Customer service is also available by email at infosxm@uts.sx, at UTS EC on Facebook and by telephone at the regular hours of 8am to 8pm.” Lambert continues.

Cole Bay location reopens

UTS’ store in Cole Bay will also open for regular business as of Monday, October 23rd after completion of clean-up and repairs to this store location. This restores UTS’ 3 store locations in Philipsburg, Marigot and Cole Bay to full functionality and regular hours again. “Our goal is to provide our customers with the mobile solutions that they need and can rely on. Our teams continue to work around the clock to restore our networks fully so that our customers can use the fastest and most reliable mobile network on the island as they were used to doing before Irma.” Lambert states.

“For billing information, I’d like to remind our Chippie postpaid customers that a visit to our stores isn’t even needed. Chippie postpaid bills can be viewed anytime through our e-invoicing portal at www.miuts.sx. After a quick online registration, customers can access bills online, anytime, anywhere. You can even handle your bill payments from the convenience of home or the office if you make payment with online banking. Don’t forget to register for your miUTS account on www.miuts.sx.”
