GREAT BAY—- NAGICO Insurances hosted the 2nd Edition of its Free Health & Fitness Fair last Saturday at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex, where hundreds of people attended to take advantage of the many health screenings which were made available and to participate in the exciting fitness classes and challenges.

From as early as 6:30 am, scores of people made their way to the venue to participate in the first event of the day which was Sunrise Yoga. Based on registration conducted on the day, a total of 562 persons attended the event. This is more than a 25% increase on the inaugural Fair last year.

A number of these new health services and fitness classes introduced, and these were well received and attended. Some of them were: Vaccination of children between 0-17-years, Baby Clinic, Women’s Health Services, Lamaze and Birthing class, Taekwondo, Aqua Aerobics and Arts Craft Cafe.

NAGICO Insurances is pleased with the response and feedback from the community as it reconfirmed how important and meaningful this event is to the island. “We would like to thank our partners: the service providers, sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible and made it a success,” NAGICO said in a statement. “At NAGICO, we pride ourselves on being involved in the communities we serve and positively contributes to quality of life.  We pledge to continue to improve on this annual event as we firmly believe that a healthy community is a happy one.”
