PHILIPSBURG – Owners of goods that were stolen in de aftermath of Hurricane Irma can reclaim their property on Friday, April 6 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the police station in Philipsburg. The prosecutor’s office said in a press statement that citizens who want to reclaim their property will have to present proof of ownership. Harbour View – On March 12, 2018, the Governor of Sint Maarten, His Excellency drs. E.B. Holiday received the report from the informateurs, Mrs. Dr. R.J.A. Arduin and Mr. J.J. Beaujon. Pond Island– TelEm Group telecommunication services to residential and business customers was interrupted Monday afternoon following an unexpected failure of network equipment. At approximately 3.00 pm Monday afternoon, fixed voice and data services and some mobile services were affected by the equipment malfunction. Technicians and engineers quickly identified the problem and were able to restore all services two hours later. The company is continuing to monitor the situation and has in the meantime apologized to customers and the general public for the inconvenience caused.

PHILIPSBURG — The St. Maarten Tzu Chi Foundation continued its efforts to assist persons in the community still suffering in the aftermath of the devastating hurricane Irma on Sunday, March 4, 2018 when it donated a number of basic food items to 70 persons from the St. Peters Kingdom Life Ministry Church.
