She responded, “I have always been committed to supporting the Sint Maarten/St. Martin community. Donating my facilitation services for this event is very important to me because the community has embraced me and continues to support my businesses. This is more than a donation of time, it is an opportunity for me to say thank you to Sint Maarten/St. Martin in a manner that is measurable, sincere and genuine. To showcase my appreciation for those attending, I will give away copies of my bestselling book ‘The Pie Philosophy’.

In a recent interview, the Y.E.S. Board had the following to say.

Interim Board President, Marouschka van Axel Dongen indicated, “As women we tend to be hard on ourselves living up to expectations and proving our worth. Motivating and supporting each other can lead us into a blooming, favorable and successful life”.

Education Coordinator, Mrs. Marisha Olivacce shared, when you educate a woman, you educate a society and a nation. Empowered women are a fundamental trait to progress the nation, and through this event we start by recognizing their worth.

The YES Foundation is committed to Sint Maarten/St. Martin’s youth and will continue to develop opportunities to foster their objective, “The empowerment of youths for success between the ages of 13 and 18 through training programs and community events that stimulate and bridge gaps while simultaneously fostering mind integration, consciousness, meaningful education and creative, social development of youth.”
