GREAT BAY – Military personnel and Gebe-employees worked on the installation of a reverse osmosis water production installation in front of the Festival Village yesterday. The installation will produce fresh drinking water and is expected to be operational today, Wednesday September 27. The installation takes water from a nearby fire hydrant. At the request of the Dominica Government they have been rendering emergency relief after the passage of Hurricane Maria since last Friday. PORT ST. MAARTEN – Cargo operations at the Captain David Cargo Quay have resumed after a side scan sonar was carried out of the seabed to see if there were any underwater obstructions. Over the weekend the Model 6 Mobile Gottwald Harbor Crane was back in operation offloading containers from Motor Vessel Tropic Sun.
