Philipsburg — The Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic and Telecommunication (TEATT) has commissioned two local clean-up crews to tackle certain cleanup issues in the general Philipsburg area. The initiative is in cooperation with the Ministry of VROMI. CAY HILL — Students and faculty of the Learning Unlimited (LU) Preparatory School paid tribute to the late Neville York on Friday, November 10th with a St. Maarten’s day celebration in his honor and by unveiling his memorial portrait in the school’s performance arts room. PHILIPSBURG –  The Council of Ministers has decided that due to practical considerations the date to dissolve Parliament will be adjusted. The dissolution of Parliament will now take place on April 2nd 2018. The new date of postulation has been adjusted to January 5th 2018 and elections will now take place on February 26th 2018. Following the elections the newly elected Parliament will be sworn in on April 2nd 2018. The Landsbesluit no.
